Residence Massacre How to Earn Coins

Coins are the main currency in Residence Massacre on Roblox, replacing the older TIX label after Tea Studio’s August 2026 compliance lockdown. You spend Coins in the lobby Coins Shop on tools, hats, and badge-gated gear. Promo codes are not active — this page is the real grind path.

Important economy fact after the Night 1 Rework (August 21, 2026): VIP no longer multiplies night or memory Coins by 1.5×. VIP now grants the Retro outfit, a VIP label, and a free daily-quest refresh (see Daily Quests). Double Coins (still named Double TIX on some Roblox cards) doubles night / memory / Endless night payouts, but does not multiply quest rewards. Older guides and scraped Coin tables that still show VIP columns on night payouts are outdated.

Base payouts from mainline nights and memories

Each standard clear of Night 1, Night 2, or Night 3 grants 10 Coins before the Double Coins pass. Memories — Spirit Helper, Mansion Incident, The Bunker — follow the same 10 Coin completion reward.

If you still see “VIP 15 / Both 30” tables on fan sites, treat them as pre-rework history. Confirm in-lobby after a Night 1 clear with VIP equipped and no Double Coins — you should see the base 10, not 15.

Daily quests — the VIP-friendly Coin loop

Three quests refresh on a ~20 hour cycle above the lobby Coin counter. Base rewards were raised in the rework (easy / medium / hard bands). VIP’s free refresh lets you reroll a dead quest without spending 25 R$. Full table and tips: Daily Quests. Double Coins does not multiply those quest payouts.

Endless mode and weather modifiers

Endless pays 10 Coins per night survived plus weather bonuses:

Double Coins doubles the final night Coin payout, not Endless $ booth money. Push Fog/Eclipse stacks when farming; save Graves/Blizzard for badges, not Coin/minute.

True Survivor (Endless Night 7) is a badge/outfit grind, not a Coin multiplier — True Survivor.

Memories, badges, and shop unlocks

• Spirit Helper — Ghost child route; unlocks Plushie after the badge.
• Mansion Incident — Lead Factory Worker defense; unlocks Candy Bucket.
• The Bunker — Play as The Miner; Hello World unlocks Flare Gun and the Miner outfit.

Coins from the clear still matter, but badge gates block gear until you prove the memory. Hub: Memories.

Daily play habits that compound

1. Clear or refresh daily quests first (VIP helps here).
2. Warm-up Night 1 for a reliable 10 Coin clear while practicing Closet QTE.
3. Rotate Night 2 / Night 3 when the squad is sharp.
4. Queue Endless with Fog or Eclipse when you want Coin density.
5. Spend before hoarding — Battery, Bloxy Cola, Crowbar from Shop items raise clear rates.

Buying Coins with Robux

The Robux shop sells Coin packs (100–5,000). Ratios improve on larger packs. The Starter Bundle (72-hour first-join) historically bundled Coins + Bloxy Cola + pirate outfit — compare against grinding nights. Passes that help farms: Double Coins, then comfort passes like Better Flashlight / Iron Lungs — Gamepasses.

TIX history and refunds

Pre-lockdown guides say TIX. Removed PvP passes refunded 2,000 Coins. Mentally swap TIX → Coins when reading old threads. Do not expect VIP to restore the old 1.5× night formula.

What Coins cannot buy

Coins do not replace gamepasses. They do not redeem fake promo strings. Titles/hats are optional after survival gear. Track economy patches on Updates and keep facts aligned with the lobby UI you actually see.
