Residence Massacre Night Prep Checklist — Nights 1–3

Printable co-op prep sheet for daylight phases before the Mutant, Stalker, or Night 3 threats activate.

Last updated:

Use this static checklist before every Residence Massacre run on Roblox Place ID 14437001043. MisterGamer_67 and Tea Studio design days around prep — barricades, cameras, generator fuel, fuse readiness — then nights around survival. Skipping daylight is how pub lobbies lose at 2 AM with full gas cans still in the yard. Cross-read Barricades & Generator and Camera Setup for mechanics; this page is the tick-box order voice chat can follow.

Assumes online co-op, post-January 2026 QoL (PvP removed, F2P stamina/flashlight buffed, Night 1 ladder breaks if stood on too long). Currency UI shows Coins after August 2026 TIX rename — items unchanged.

Universal pre-lobby (all nights)

  • Confirm night target and modifiers (Blizzard / Graves / Bloodmoon / Party) with team
  • Match player count or friends-only lobby if farming badges
  • Skim Controls callouts — agree door names (compass or color)
  • Assign roles: Camera, Hammer/Barricades, Generator/Fuse, Runner/Floater
  • Check equipped lobby shop items (Tier List Items) — crowbar, radar, medkit if owned
  • Voice or Discord linked — silent pub groups fail Night 2 audio cues

Daylight phase — every night

Complete in route order, not random wandering:

Vision

  • Collect ladder — camera player primary carrier
  • Place all four cameras per Camera Setup — front, rear, flank elevations
  • Confirm monitor station reachable and caller knows switch layout
  • Flashlight equipped — test first-person follow (January 2026 QoL)

Defense

  • Gather planks + hammer — hammer player
  • Barricade priority doors/windows listed on night-specific section below
  • Leave repair path — do not trap teammates inside barricaded rooms
  • Note ladder placement — do not camp ladder (breaks after standing too long post-Jan 2026)

Power

  • Gas can to generator — generator player
  • Fuel generator before sky darkens
  • Locate fuse box — know wire colors; broken wire highlight enabled (Night 3 era QoL)
  • Radio on for transition cues (Barricades & Generator)

Team sync

  • Camera player announces “prep complete” checklist aloud
  • Runner confirms spare planks/gas location
  • Everyone knows bed skip rules if practicing speed (optional)

Night 1 — Mutant prep add-ons

Read Night 1 guide for break patterns. Daylight extras:

  • Prioritize ground-floor entries mutant reaches first
  • Double plank rear and side windows if camera shows flank lanes
  • Hammer player stays mid-house — not on ladder indefinitely
  • Test zombie spawn lanes if prior night left debris

Night 1 modifiers (if enabled)

ModifierExtra prep
BloodmoonShorter day — compress route; double-check generator early
BlizzardCold zones later — know indoor rally point
PartyPresents on map — optional loot, do not delay barricades

Night 2 — Stalker prep add-ons

Read Night 2 guide. Stalker punishes camera addiction and power lapses.

  • All four cameras mandatory — caller cannot face-check every peek
  • UV / stun tools if unlocked — read Night 2 rework notes
  • Battery items for Larry stun routes if team uses them
  • Reinforce factory-side entries stalker audio references
  • Plan blizzard indoor path — damage 10/s after January 2026 nerf (still lethal)
  • Ceiling pest awareness — one active at a time; listen for particles

Night 2 modifiers

ModifierExtra prep
BlizzardIndoor rotation map; hot chocolate/presents if Party stacked
BloodmoonFaster night — generator must be stable before 12 AM
PartyFive map presents — optional hammer/coal RNG

Night 3 — Endgame prep add-ons

Read Night 3 guide. Highest system overlap — power, cabins, anomalies.

  • Confirm vanilla Night 3 clear once before Graves + Bloodmoon stacks
  • Cabin routing memorized — Cabin 3 campfire for brief warmth
  • Pumpkin / pest lanes — damage 15 normalized all nights (Jan 2026)
  • Split heater player if Blizzard modifier (Christmas 2025)
  • Graves awareness — graveyard pressure (Halloween 2025)
  • Medkit / flare if owned for clutch saves

Night 3 modifier prep matrix

ModifierUnlock notePrep extras
BloodmoonBeat Night 3 onceShorter day, harder spawns, 2x wins historically
GravesEvent open or badge gatePumpkin routes; Bloody Zombie badge path
BlizzardWinter Camper or eventHeaters in cabins; lights on to recharge; present sky drops

Heater checklist (Blizzard):

  • Know which cabin has heater spawn (1 solo/duo, 2 trio+)
  • Lights stay on in recharge cabin
  • Drop heater before inventory actions
  • Campfire near Cabin 3 only ~30s warmth after night start

Memory runs (optional same session)

Not night prep, but lobby time competes:

Announce “memory run” so pub teammates do not start night timer.

Post-night log (habit)

  • Update mental rows on Badge Tracker
  • Note which prep step failed — camera, fuse, or barricade
  • Re-read failed section in Guides before requeue
  • Check Updates if mechanics felt different — patches move silently

Quick role card (copy for voice)

Camera: “Placing cams. Mutant left flank. Fuse tripped.”

Hammer: “Back door two planks. Heading kitchen window.”

Generator: “Generator fueled. Gas spare by fuse box.”

Runner: “Fetching ladder down. Present by Cabin 2 if Blizzard.”

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Residence Massacre survivors.

What is the first prep step every Residence Massacre night?

Assign roles and confirm modifiers before collecting items. Then run camera placement, barricades, and generator fuel in route order during daylight.

Does Night 3 need different prep than Night 1?

Yes. Night 3 adds cabin routing, heater management for Blizzard, and multi-threat callouts. Clear vanilla Night 3 once before stacking Graves or Bloodmoon.

Why does the checklist mention ladder breaks?

January 2026 QoL made ladders break if a player stands on them too long. Camera players should place ladders without camping elevation.

How do I prep for Blizzard on Night 3?

Assign heater and lights roles, memorize cabin heater spawns, and plan present sky-drop paths. See Christmas 2025 update notes for modifier rules.

Can I use this checklist solo?

Yes, but prioritize dual-purpose camera angles and tighter routing. Co-op assumes four roles; solo merges hammer and generator duties.
