Residence Massacre Bloodmoon Event — Night 2 Badge Route
Camper cosmetic set, four-survivor survival rule, and how the Halloween 2025 rerun changed the badge timer.
The Bloodmoon event returned for Halloween 2025 on October 24, 2025 as a permanent Night 2 badge route. It rewards the Camper cosmetic set and a unique voiceline pack. Unlike Graves, Bloodmoon is a four-survivor badge: every player has to survive the night, no shambler trade-offs allowed. This guide covers the modifier stack, the badge timer rules, and how the Halloween 2025 rerun differs from the original 2024 launch.
The Halloween 2025 event guide is the broader hub; the Night 2 modifiers page covers all the permanent Night 2 routes that share the rotation with Bloodmoon.
What the Bloodmoon badge requires
To clear Bloodmoon on Night 2, your party must satisfy three conditions at dawn:
- All four survivors are alive at 06:00 in-game. No shambler revive counts — Bloodmoon does not interact with Graves.
- The Generator never dropped below 25 fuel during the night. The badge timer tracks the lowest Generator level; if you dipped to 24 at any point, the badge counter zeros out.
- The Bloodmoon modifier stack was active when the night started. You can verify this in the lobby under “Night 2 modifiers” — it shows “Bloodmoon” with a red moon icon if it’s queued.
The badge itself grants:
- Camper set — body and hat cosmetic.
- Bloodmoon voiceline pack — replaces The Stalker’s audio cues with Halloween-themed variants for the rest of the Halloween event window.
- 100 Coins (the in-game currency, formerly TIX until the August 2026 moderation rename).
The Night 2 Bloodmoon modifier stack
Bloodmoon doesn’t replace the regular Night 2 monsters — it stacks on top of them. The active stack on Halloween 2025 was:
- Base Night 2 — The Stalker on audio cues, Cabin 3 spawn.
- Bloodmoon audio reverb — added layer of cinematic reverb on all monster audio, makes directional listening harder.
- Two random sub-modifiers — drawn from the pool: No Cabin Lights, Fast Doors, Half-Fuel Generator. Each rerun rolls different sub-modifiers, so no two Bloodmoon clears feel identical.
The combination is harder than base Night 2 but easier than Graves on Night 3 because there’s no shambler math to track. The challenge is purely attention: with Bloodmoon audio reverb, you cannot rely on directional hearing alone.
Recommended routing under Bloodmoon
Pre-night setup (mandatory):
- Gas the Generator to 100 and stage two Gas Cans for the second-half refill.
- Position cameras at Piano Room, Lakeview Cabin 3, and Front Door. Avoid Cabin 3 if the sub-modifier roll is No Cabin Lights — the camera will be useless there.
- Two players commit to Listening role (eyes closed, headphones on, calling out audio cues). One player commits to Camera role. The fourth player commits to Door role and never leaves the Front Door intercom.
Night 2 loop:
- First half (until 02:00): Keep lights on, run the standard Night 2 routing. Don’t bank fuel aggressively yet — Bloodmoon sub-modifiers might force early spending.
- Second half (02:00 to 05:00): Watch the Generator gauge like a hawk. The badge timer tracks the lowest value, so never let it dip below 30. Refuel at 35 if the sub-modifiers are stable.
- Final hour (05:00 to dawn): Hold position. The Stalker gets more aggressive in the last hour but doesn’t have any new moves under Bloodmoon — just route as usual.
What changed in the Halloween 2025 rerun
The first Bloodmoon event ran in October 2024 with a single sub-modifier (Fast Doors only). The 2025 rerun introduced two changes:
- Sub-modifier pool expansion — now draws from: No Cabin Lights, Fast Doors, Half-Fuel Generator. Each rerun picks two.
- Audio reverb layer — added for atmospheric reasons. The dev commentary in the Halloween 2025 event notes explicitly calls this a “spooky season” feature; the team committed to keeping the reverb even outside Halloween.
Players who cleared the 2024 Bloodmoon badge keep the 2024 cosmetic reward; the 2025 Camper set is a fresh clear with the 2025 timestamp. The Camper set is per-character, so each survivor in your party who clears the badge gets their own Camper loadout.
Pairing Bloodmoon with other modifiers
Bloodmoon is a Night 2 modifier; it doesn’t interact with Night 3 modifiers at all. Within Night 2, you can stack Bloodmoon with Esqueletos if you want — the audio reverb layers on top of the Esqueletos audio cues, but the routing math stays the same. Don’t pair Bloodmoon with Factory Chaos (Night 3 only, not relevant) and don’t try to activate Graves on the same night (Graves is Night 3 only).

Frequently asked questions
Can I solo Bloodmoon?
Technically yes, but you’ll fail the four-survivor requirement immediately. The badge requires all four alive, so Bloodmoon is a hard party-only clear.
Does the Bloodmoon badge carry over between years?
No. Each Halloween rerun grants a fresh badge. The 2024 Bloodmoon reward stays in your inventory; the 2025 Camper set is a separate clear.
What if my Generator dips below 25 fuel once?
The badge counter zeros out. There’s no partial progress — it’s binary. This is by design; the dev team confirmed in the November 23, 2025 patch notes that low-fuel survival is the entire point of Bloodmoon.
Does the audio reverb persist outside Halloween?
Yes. The Halloween 2025 patch committed the reverb layer to the permanent Bloodmoon modifier.
Can I get the Camper set without doing the badge?
No. Camper is Bloodmoon-exclusive. The closest cosmetic alternatives are the Outfits page basics and the Halloween 2025 event cosmetics — Witch Hat is a Bunker clear, not Bloodmoon.
Where do I report a Bloodmoon bug?
Use the in-game report button or the official links page. Audio-reverb-related bugs are flagged with the Bloodmoon tag for routing.
