Residence Massacre Jerry — April Fools Anomaly
The Multiversal modifier replaces The Mutant with Jerry — a hunger-bar survival challenge during April Fools events.
Jerry is the anomaly that replaces The Mutant during the Multiversal modifier on Night 1, introduced during the April Fools 2025 event (April 1–20, 2025) and rerun in April Fools 2026 (April 1–19, 2026). He is not a canon Residence Massacre anomaly — he is a joke enemy designed to make the game’s hardest night feel completely different during the April Fools window.
Jerry is tied to the Multiversal modifier, not the standard modifier pool. When April Fools ends, Jerry disappears along with the Multiversal modifier. He is documented here so players who encounter him during an event understand what they are dealing with and do not confuse him with the real Mutant.
Place 14437001043. Night 1 map. Multiversal modifier must be active.
What Jerry is
Jerry is a Mutant replacement with a completely different mechanic: the hunger bar.
Instead of chasing players with window-light and closet rules, Jerry’s presence is tracked through a hunger meter that constantly drains. If the bar empties, the player takes continuous damage. The counterplay is cooking noodles in the house kitchen to restore the hunger bar.
This makes Multiversal the only modifier where not fighting the anomaly is the primary strategy — you are managing a hunger clock, not repairing floodlights.
Hunger bar mechanics
- The hunger bar drains over time — roughly 75 seconds from full to empty under normal conditions.
- When empty, the player takes approximately 6.67 damage per second, which can kill a player if left unchecked.
- Eating noodles restores the hunger bar.
- The kitchen is located in the back left of the house — players must navigate there to cook.
How to cook noodles
- Enter the kitchen in the house.
- Locate the noodle station.
- Hold the interact button to cook noodles.
- Consume the noodles to restore the hunger bar.
Timing the cooking is the challenge — leave it too late and Jerry may trap you in a room while your hunger bar empties. Cook proactively, not reactively.
Relationship to other modifiers
Multiversal stacks with other modifiers:
- Multiversal + Bloodmoon: Faster hunger drain, more aggressive Jerry movement.
- Multiversal + Graves: Zombies also spawn alongside Jerry’s hunger pressure.
- Multiversal + Blizzard: Replaces Jerry with Winterhorn (see that page). Kitchen is disabled; hunger mechanic changes.
- Multiversal + Party: Adds party events to the Multiversal experience.
Multiversal Chaos (all modifiers including Multiversal) is the true hardest challenge, combining Jerry’s hunger mechanics with every other modifier’s pressure.
What Jerry is not
- Jerry is not a canon anomaly. He does not appear in Night 2 or Night 3.
- He is not related to The Mutant’s lore — Mutant is a radioactive anomaly; Jerry is a joke.
- He is not part of the standard game. You must enable the Multiversal modifier during an April Fools event.
Co-op strategy for Multiversal
- One player should be the designated cooker — someone who can navigate to the kitchen without being chased.
- Call hunger levels like a health bar: “cooking at 30%” means the player is getting low.
- Jerry does not respond to UV Light, Bear Trap, or Flare Gun — survival is about hunger management, not stun tools.
- The Battery and Bloxy Cola are still useful for stamina during kitchen runs, but the primary resource is the hunger bar.
Why April Fools exists in Residence Massacre
April Fools is an annual Roblox tradition that Tea Studio leans into harder than most developers. The original 2025 joke replaced The Mutant with Jerry for a week-long window; the 2026 re-run added Winterhorn and Delusion as a stacked variant. Both Multiversal variants are opt-in only — you must queue a Night 1 run with the Multiversal modifier selected on a car.
The modifier sits outside the normal pool because the win condition changes: instead of “survive The Mutant,” you manage either a hunger bar or a cold/closet matrix. April Fools badges are limited and rarely re-grant. If you care about the Mutation Outfit bar, treat April Fools clears as cosmetic — they usually do not feed the percent.
How Multiversal fits the lore
Jerry is deliberate anti-canon — The Mutant, Lost Soul, Krampus, and Yule Stalker each have story arcs in The Mutant, Halloween 2025, and Christmas 2025. Jerry has none of that; he exists to make a familiar map feel foreign for two weeks a year, then disappear. The 2026 run added cooking-noodle flavor text, but no new lore.
Players searching for Robloxian Mutant or Pool Party are usually looking for the April Fools 2025 Pool Party modifier, which transformed Robloxians into Mutants during a separate window. Pool Party is not Jerry — it is a cosmetic modifier from a different year, and the wiki page for that event covers the distinction.
