Outfit Changes Patch

On August 23, 2026, Tea Studio shipped a focused Outfit Changes pass — not a new night, but the first live follow-up after the Night 1 Rework on August 21. If your lobby mannequin looks wrong, your Badge Index reward preview changed, or a friend says “Raver is a milestone now,” this is the patch. Place ID 14437001043. Currency remains Coins. PvP stays removed. No promo codes.

Read this with Badges, Cosmetics, and the Badge Tracker. The Night 1 Rework already replaced titles with equipable badges, swapped crates for a Hat shop, and added milestone rewards. August 23 assigned which outfit sits on which badge so the new index is not a pile of leftover skins.

What changed on August 23

OutfitNew hook
SacrificeReworked model/look; reward for the Deja Vu badge
RaverReworked; 75% Mutation / Badge Index milestone reward
MinerReward for Hello World (the Bunker clear that also gates Flare Gun)
VesselReward for Purgatory
AftermathBack as a Legacy outfit
CamperReward for Crimson Camp (also the Bear Trap shop gate)
RemnantBack as the Camp Chaos reward
CalamitySlight visual rework

If you already owned these outfits from older events, you typically keep the cosmetic. What changed is the earn path for new players and how the Index percent bar talks about them. Confirm live tooltips on Lead Factory Worker’s Badge Index in the parking lot.

Why this patch exists

The Night 1 Rework refurbished every outfit, deleted clutter cosmetics, and replaced VIP’s Golden look with Retro. That left reward tables pointing at retired crates and old title strings. August 23 is the bookkeeping pass: badges that still matter (Hello World, Purgatory, Crimson Camp, Camp Chaos, Deja Vu) now pay a named outfit instead of a random crate roll.

Raver at 75% is the headline for collectors grinding Mutation. You no longer treat House Chaos as the only Raver story — the milestone pays the reworked Raver while House Chaos history still sits in Badges notes.

How to play around it

  1. Open Badge Index before buying hats in the Coins Shop. You might already be a milestone away from Raver.
  2. If you want Miner, run The Bunker for Hello World, then optionally buy Flare Gun (2,500 Coins) for Night 3 stuns.
  3. If you want Camper, target Crimson Camp — same badge that unlocks Bear Trap in the shop. That is a Night 3 / camp-theme grind, not a Night 1 window scare.
  4. Vessel still means Purgatory discipline (hard Bloodmoon-style routes). Do not buy a lookalike hat expecting the outfit.
  5. Aftermath as Legacy means new accounts should not wait for a crate to spit it; treat it as an OG marker.
  6. Ignore YouTube “outfit codes.” Active Codes is empty.

What did not ship in this patch

  • No Night 4. Soldiers at the end of Night 3 still tease the next mainline chapter — Night 4 status.
  • No Anniversary 2026 event live in this notes dump. A Party TV sneak peek exists separately — Anniversary 2026.
  • No economy rename. Coins already replaced TIX on August 8, 2026.
  • No VIP 1.5× return. VIP is still quest refresh + Retro.

August 23 is a small date with a large lobby impact. If your squad still describes Raver as “the House Chaos skin only,” send them this page before they farm the wrong badge for a week.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Residence Massacre survivors.

When did the Residence Massacre outfit changes patch drop?

August 23, 2026 — two days after the Night 1 Rework. It retied outfits to badges and milestones without adding a new night.

How do I get the Raver outfit now?

The reworked Raver is the 75% Badge Index / Mutation milestone reward. Older House Chaos associations may still appear in history notes.

Which badge gives the Miner outfit?

Hello World, from completing The Bunker memory. That badge also unlocks the Flare Gun in the Coins Shop.

Is Aftermath still obtainable?

Aftermath returned as a Legacy outfit. New players should check the Badge Index tooltip; do not expect crate rolls because crates were removed.

Does Camper still come from Crimson Camp?

Yes. Camper is the Crimson Camp reward after this patch, and Crimson Camp also gates Bear Trap in the Coins Shop.
