The Anniversary 2026 re-run is live as of August 28, 2026. This is not a teaser page anymore. MisterGamer_67 / Tea Studio shipped a focused event pass two days after Outfit Changes and one week after the Night 1 Rework. If your lobby has birthday decorations, a Milestone Party Hat in the Hat shop, or Night 1 Party that does not match 2025 muscle memory, you are in this window. Place ID 14437001043. Currency is Coins. No promo codes. PvP stays removed. Night 4 is still not out — Night 4 status.

Confirm the live end date on discord.gg/residencemassacre. Prior anniversary windows lasted about three weeks (2024: August 23 – September 13; 2025: August 22 – September 12). Do not assume those exact calendar days copy-paste onto 2026.

What shipped on August 28

Community patch notes (same dump that logged Night 1 Rework and Outfit Changes) list four live bullets:

• Reworked Party modifier for Night 1. Treat Modifiers 2025 timer tables as history until you read the in-game event text. The house you party in is the August 21 rework house: closet QTE, new Mutant, shared ladder, TV / satellite.
• Milestone Party Hat available in the shop. Buy it from the Hat shop inside the merged Coins Shop. Crates are gone since the August 8 lockdown — there is no Cake Crate this year.
• Four badges available again for a limited time. Anniversary events historically return Monster Mash, Party’s Over, Factory Party, and Sugar Rush. Tick them in the lobby Badge Index (Lead Factory Worker). Limited rows usually do not fill Mutation % — Mutation Outfit.
• Anniversary hats buyable again for a limited time. Expect the party hat row (Balloon Ninja, Red Hood, Hungry Dino, Pizza Box, Black Antlers, Bighead, Party Shades, and similar) to rotate back into the Hat shop. Confirm prices on the mannequin; this wiki will not invent Coins costs.

The late-August Party TV sneak peek (Party_26_Sneak_Peek on the community wiki) was the trailer for this window, not a separate unreleased night. Living-room TV on vanilla Night 1 is still the satellite news secret — do not confuse that 9PM broadcast with birthday Party events.

Monster Mash still appears as the anniversary floor item on nights when the event is live — dance / mash pickup, not a Night 4 skip. Partygoer still comes from Party’s Over (survive Party on Night 1). Cake Master remains the 2025 Sugar Rush / cake route; re-run windows often re-enable the farm, they do not always add a new outfit.

What to play this week

1. Queue Night 1 with Party if you still need Party’s Over or want to learn the reworked event list before you stack House Chaos. Read Closet QTE first — Party darkness plus Larry inside is how pubs wipe.
2. Buy the Milestone Party Hat if you collect hats. Shop stock is the reason this re-run exists for returning players who skipped crates in 2025.
3. Scan Badge Index for four returning limited ticks. If a row is grey, it is probably still limited and outside Mutation 100%. Farm it now; do not wait for a YouTube “scan my account” site.
4. Do not skip satellite / TV practice. Party events and the 9PM news can overlap in the same house. Assign one player to event text, another to road / police cars at 21:00 if you also chase lore.
5. House Chaos is still Calamity, not Raver. Raver is 75% Mutation after August 23. Stacking every modifier during a birthday week is a flex, not a Raver skip — Night 1 Badges.

Co-op callouts for Party week

• “Event text” — one player watches the Party prompt, not cameras.
• “Window RNG” — a Party break can void Shatterproof even if Larry never touched the glass.
• “Fuse / −30 fuel” — same jobs as vanilla Thunderstorm plus Party sabotage.
• “Overtime” — if The party is over… still fires near 6 AM, play silent Mutant rules until the extra timer ends.
• “Hat shop after” — do not spend the last Coins on Subspace Tripmine memes while limited hats are listed.

VIP still refreshes daily quests; it is not 1.5× Coins. Double Coins does not multiply quest payouts after the rework. Earn routes: How to Earn Coins.

What this event is not

• Not Night 4. Soldiers ending on Night 3 is still the only mainline tease.
• Not a Trello dump. No public Trello — Trello & Discord.
• Not PvP. Removed January 9, 2026 until mainline nights finish.
• Not four brand-new story badges. The notes say badges available again, i.e. returning limited rows. Check Index names before you grind the wrong night.
