Residence Massacre Winterhorn — April Fools Anomaly
Jerry's cold-weather replacement during Multiversal + Blizzard — Delusion closet attacks and no kitchen.
Winterhorn is the anomaly that appears when the Multiversal modifier and Blizzard modifier are stacked together during the April Fools event. He replaces Jerry and removes the hunger bar mechanic, replacing it with different challenges tied to the Blizzard cold-weather system.
Winterhorn is not a canon Residence Massacre anomaly. Like Jerry, he exists only during the limited April Fools event window. He is documented here so players understand what they are dealing with during Multiversal + Blizzard stacks and do not confuse him with any real game mechanics.
Place 14437001043. Night 1 map. Multiversal + Blizzard modifiers must both be active.
What Winterhorn is
Winterhorn is a cold-weather variant of Jerry. The hunger bar is removed because the kitchen is disabled — players can no longer cook noodles. Instead, Winterhorn brings a different threat structure:
- No hunger bar — the noodle-cooking mechanic from Jerry is gone.
- Cold damage applies — Blizzard’s freeze mechanic remains active. Players outside the house take freeze damage.
- Delusion is introduced — a second anomaly that attacks from closets.
Winterhorn himself behaves similarly to Jerry in terms of movement and patrol patterns, but the survival challenge shifts from hunger management to cold management and Delusion avoidance.
Blizzard mechanics remain active
When Winterhorn appears, the Blizzard modifier is fully active:
- Freeze damage applies after about 20 seconds outside — 10 damage per second.
- The fireplace inside the house provides warmth.
- Logs near the generator can be placed in the fireplace to maintain warmth.
- Players must balance staying warm inside against dealing with Winterhorn’s presence.
Delusion — the closet anomaly
Delusion is the second anomaly introduced alongside Winterhorn during Multiversal + Blizzard. He lives in closets.
- When a closet is opened while Delusion is present, he can deal 35 damage or cut power to the house if the lights are already off.
- The counter is to close the closet immediately when Delusion is inside — he cannot attack if the closet is shut.
- Delusion can be avoided by checking closets before opening them or by leaving closets closed entirely during Multiversal + Blizzard runs.
Delusion is the reason Multiversal + Blizzard is significantly harder than Jerry alone — you must manage cold damage, Winterhorn’s presence, and closet safety simultaneously.
What makes Multiversal + Blizzard harder than Jerry alone
| Challenge | Jerry (Multiversal) | Winterhorn (Multiversal + Blizzard) |
|---|---|---|
| Primary threat | Hunger bar drain | Freeze damage + Delusion |
| Kitchen | Available for noodles | Disabled |
| Closet safety | Not applicable | Delusion deals damage or cuts power |
| Outdoor survival | Possible with stamina | Freeze damage makes extended outdoor time lethal |
| Strategy | Manage hunger | Manage cold + Delusion + Winterhorn |
Co-op strategy for Multiversal + Blizzard
- Never open a closet without calling it out first — Delusion can catch a player off guard.
- Assign one player as the closet checker — they identify which closets have Delusion before others approach.
- Fireplace management is critical — keep logs stocked in the fireplace while players rotate through the house.
- Do not leave the house for extended periods — freeze damage accumulates quickly.
- Winterhorn does not respond to stun tools — survive the environment and the closet threat, not the anomaly directly.
Why April Fools exists in Residence Massacre
April Fools is an annual Roblox tradition that Tea Studio leans into harder than most developers. The original 2025 joke replaced The Mutant with Jerry for a week-long window; the 2026 re-run added Winterhorn and Delusion as a stacked variant. Winterhorn only appears when Multiversal + Blizzard are both selected, so most squads planning to grind it queue from the same lobby.
Both Multiversal variants are opt-in only. The modifier sits outside the normal pool because the win condition changes: instead of “survive The Mutant,” you manage cold damage, kitchen access, and closet safety at once. April Fools badges are limited and rarely re-grant.
How Multiversal + Blizzard fits the lore
Winterhorn is deliberate anti-canon — The Mutant, Lost Soul, Krampus, and Yule Stalker each have story arcs in The Mutant, Halloween 2025, and Christmas 2025. Winterhorn has none of that; he exists to make a familiar map feel foreign for two weeks a year, then disappear. Delusion follows the same joke pattern.
Players searching for Robloxian Mutant or Pool Party are usually looking for the April Fools 2025 Pool Party modifier, which transformed Robloxians into Mutants during a separate window. Pool Party is not Winterhorn — it is a cosmetic modifier from a different year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Residence Massacre survivors.
What is Winterhorn in Residence Massacre?
Winterhorn replaces Jerry when Multiversal and Blizzard modifiers are both active during April Fools. The kitchen is disabled, Delusion appears in closets, and Blizzard freeze mechanics remain active.
How does Delusion work during Multiversal + Blizzard?
Delusion lives in closets. Opening a closet with Delusion inside either deals 35 damage or cuts house power. Close the closet to avoid him.
Is there a kitchen during Winterhorn?
No. The kitchen is disabled during Multiversal + Blizzard, removing the noodle-cooking mechanic that Jerry requires.
Does the Flare Gun work on Winterhorn?
No. Like Jerry, Winterhorn is not affected by standard anomaly stun tools. Survival is about managing cold damage and Delusion.
What is the hardest April Fools modifier combination?
Multiversal Chaos (all modifiers including Multiversal) combines Jerry's hunger, Winterhorn's cold, Delusion's closet attacks, and every standard modifier's pressure into one run.
