Factory Chaos — Night 2 All-Stack

Factory Chaos is the Night 2 all-modifier stack in Residence Massacre on Roblox Place ID 14437001043. Activating Factory Chaos enables every live Night 2 modifier simultaneously on the factory map — Bloodmoon, Party, Graves, and Blizzard — and rewards the Factory Chaos badge plus the Operator outfit on a successful clear. Pair this page with the Modifiers hub, the Night 2 walkthrough, and the Badges reference where Factory Chaos sits in the Chaos modifier family next to House Chaos (Night 1 → Calamity outfit) and Camp Chaos (Night 3 → Remnant outfit, added in Christmas 2025).

Factory Chaos is Night 2 only. There is no Factory Chaos equivalent on Night 1 (use House Chaos for that) or on Night 3 (Night 3 has its own all-stack called Camp Chaos, which awards Remnant, not Operator). Treat the three Chaos badges as a family: House Chaos → Factory Chaos → Camp Chaos is the natural progression from suburban house to factory to Lakeview camp.

What Factory Chaos enables

Factory Chaos is a single toggle in the Night 2 lobby that activates four modifiers together:

  • Bloodmoon — daytime shrinks to roughly half length. The Mutant moves faster and flickers factory lights on spawn. The Stalker deals more damage and ramps more aggressively if not flashed. The Pest chews cables faster. Batteries refill all three power bars (up from the +2 bar refill in vanilla Night 2 — the Bloodmoon buff launched in the August 22, 2025 Anniversary event and stayed).
  • Party — 45-second event timer rolls random events after midnight on the factory map: vision flash, free Bloxy Cola or Hammer, broken floodlight wire, struck radio tower, generator bar loss, and the “The party is over…” encore at 5:57 AM (extra 1:30 of darker ambience, faster silent Mutant, ??? objective). Total Night length grows to roughly 9:25.
  • Graves — skeletons spawn behind the factory at the listed hours, and a third UV Light spawns in the Delivery Service shop for the run. UV Light stuns skeleton groups, which is the only safe counter. Unlock is via Night 2 Bloodmoon or the Spooky Skeletons badge from Halloween 2025.
  • Blizzard — factory cold-exposure rule. Stay inside the factory interior or near a heated workspace, or take 10 damage per second after the 20-second freeze buildup. Pest and Stalker get visual variants when stacked with Party.

The modifier stack multiplies threat pressure but does not add new threats. The four anomalies on Night 2 (Mutant, Stalker, Pest, and the Worker ally) are unchanged — they just behave more aggressively.

How to unlock Factory Chaos

Factory Chaos is gated by the Factory Party badge per the Badges reference and the live anniversary pool. To clear it you need:

  1. Own the Party modifier unlock on Night 2 — the modifier is part of the standard Night 2 pool since the Anniversary 2025 event shipped Party to the factory for the first time (August 22, 2025). Survive a Night 2 Party run to claim the Party row in the Badge Index.
  2. Own the Bloody Bones badge from Halloween 2025, or clear a factory run with Graves + Bloodmoon active simultaneously.
  3. Own the Spooky Skeletons badge from Halloween 2025, or clear a Night 2 run with Graves modifier active.
  4. Queue Night 2 with all four modifiers active and clear to dawn. The badge progress bar in the lobby (Lead Factory Worker NPC, parking lot) ticks the Factory Chaos row on success.

Seasonal events sometimes open Factory Chaos without badges for the duration of the window — the Anniversary 2026 re-run (August 28, 2026) re-listed Party and the four anniversary badges (Monster Mash, Party’s Over, Factory Party, and Sugar Rush) for roughly seven days. Plan your grind around the Badge Index before the window closes.

Operator outfit vs Calamity vs Raver

Clearing Factory Chaos awards the Operator outfit — confirmed by the live Badges reference Chaos modifier family table. The factory Operator is the blue-grey tactical loadout worn by the Lead Factory Worker NPC and is exclusive to Factory Chaos clears. Do not confuse it with:

  • Calamity — the Night 1 House Chaos reward. Yellow-orange weathered palette with a unique walk animation. Rookie grinders often mix the two because both Chaos badges use weathered palettes.
  • Raver — the 75% Mutation / Badge Index milestone outfit, retied in Outfit Changes (August 23, 2026). Raver is not a Chaos reward; it is a Mutation progress unlock that sits above all three Chaos badges on the index.

The full Chaos modifier family is: House Chaos → Calamity (Night 1), Factory Chaos → Operator (Night 2), Camp Chaos → Remnant (Night 3, Christmas 2025 added). Clearing all three stacks grants Mutation percent for each but does not chain to Raver — Raver is a separate milestone.

Co-op routing under Factory Chaos

Use the Night 2 walkthrough as your baseline, then layer the modifier routing on top:

Pre-night (4 PM → midnight, world time):

  1. Fix every Pressure Pipe in the entrance hallway and the top-right room. Each pays 10 $ to the Night 2-only wallet (separate from lobby Coins). Pressure Pipe math is the same in Factory Chaos as vanilla — spend early.
  2. Pre-buy two UV Lights and two Cameras from the Delivery Service in the factory center. The third UV Light from the Graves modifier pool costs extra — keep a slot free for it.
  3. Pre-place cameras at Floodlight Near Power Room, Floodlights Main Room Left, and the Offices section. Each camera has one flash charge for Stalker interrupts.
  4. Confirm the radio tower behind the factory is wired and the Wrench is on hand. Party modifier breaks the tower at 2 AM and 4 AM; the Worker cannot repair it without a Wrench.

00:00 to 02:00 — Bloodmoon + Party early game:

  • Bloodmoon Mutant flickers lights on spawn. Hold the generator fuel with +3 bar batteries instead of +2 — the Anniversary 2025 buff stays active.
  • Graves skeletons spawn at the listed hours. The first wave often lands inside a Party event window — coordinate with your team so wire-break and skeleton spawn do not overlap. You cannot flash two threats at once.
  • Party events fire on a 45-second shrinking timer. Announce “event text” callouts so the squad knows whether to expect vision flash, wire break, or free Bloxy Cola / Hammer drops.

02:00 to 05:00 — Stalker + radio tower strikes:

  • The Stalker begins spawning from one of four floor cracks (entrance, offices, storage, back-right) at 2 AM. UV Light or camera flash on the emergence puddle despawns him; failure to flash triggers rampage (teleports, ~13.3 HP/s look damage, instant-kill on touch).
  • Party radio-tower strike at 2 AM disables radios. Climb with the Wrench, tap the sparking wire, do not linger — January 2026 added a ladder-break timer that punishes AFK on the tower. Wrong wire or no wrench = 30 damage; lightning kills you.
  • Battery priority should keep power at 2 bars or higher. Each flash from a floodlight spends one full bar.
  • Send the Repair Worker only when The Pest has cleared the cable. Pest still on the cable kills the Worker instantly and you cannot repair again that night.

05:00 to dawn — Party encore:

  • Party “The party is over…” event at 5:57 AM flips the objective to ??? for 90 seconds. Larry becomes silent and faster. Generator powering the factory drains to empty automatically.
  • Stack last UV Light and Camera charges here. Survive the 90-second dark period with radio use to fend off ceiling Pest and locker-only Mutant avoidance.
  • The Factory Chaos badge ticks to completion at 6 AM if all four modifiers were active when the night started.

Solo math for Factory Chaos

Factory Chaos is the hardest modifier stack for solo runs because the modifier stack stresses every mechanic:

  • Pressure Pipe math. Solo runs can fix pipes faster, but you cannot split Repair Worker duties with a teammate, so any Pest cable break leaves you alone in the back-right room with no one to watch the locker while you fix.
  • Battery burn. A solo run with four modifier stacks burns Generator fuel at about 2.5× the rate of vanilla Night 2. Two batteries is the minimum; four is realistic.
  • Cold exposure. Solo players spend more time outside than parties, so Blizzard damage scales harder. Avoid running outside for more than 12 seconds per trip.
  • Audio cue routing. Solo players cannot assign a dedicated listening role. Bloodmoon audio reverb reduces your effective Stalker cue window by about 40%.

Most Factory Chaos clears happen in a four-player party. Solo clears are realistic only with Iron Lungs and Better Flashlight gamepasses from the Gamepasses tier list.

What Factory Chaos rewards

A successful Factory Chaos clear grants:

  • Operator outfit — blue-grey tactical factory loadout, exclusive to Factory Chaos clears. Worn by Lead Factory Worker in the lobby.
  • Factory Chaos badge — pinned to your profile; required for Chaos family progress and Mutation percent.
  • +10 Coins bonus per active modifier on a successful clear (4 modifiers × 10 = +40 Coins per clear, on top of base reward). Bloodmoon also grants an extra win credit per the Modifiers page.
  • Mutation percent progress — Factory Chaos counts toward the non-limited badge index bar that drives the 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% milestones. Factory Chaos is one of the rarer non-limited rows on the bar.
  • Factory Chaos leaderboard entry — separate from the general Badge Index leaderboard.

The Operator cosmetic is the main draw — it is one of the most recognizable Chaos-family skins because of its factory-tactical palette.

Frequently asked questions

Is Factory Chaos Night 2 or Night 3?

Factory Chaos is Night 2 only. It stacks Bloodmoon, Party, Graves, and Blizzard on the factory map. Night 3 has its own all-stack called Camp Chaos, which awards Remnant (not Operator).

Which outfit does Factory Chaos give?

Factory Chaos rewards the Operator outfit, per the Badges reference Chaos modifier family table. House Chaos gives Calamity, Camp Chaos gives Remnant, and Raver is the separate 75% Mutation milestone after Outfit Changes (August 23, 2026).

Can I solo Factory Chaos?

Yes, with practice, but it is the hardest solo modifier stack. Most clears happen in a four-player party. Solo clears are realistic only with Iron Lungs and Better Flashlight gamepasses.

Does Factory Chaos count as a Party clear for the Factory Party badge?

Yes. Surviving a Party run on Night 2 ticks the Party row in the Badge Index. Factory Chaos counts because Party is one of its four modifiers. The same is true for Bloodmoon, Graves, and Blizzard modifier counts.

Does Factory Chaos interact with Camp Chaos or House Chaos?

No. Each Chaos badge is night-locked. House Chaos is Night 1, Factory Chaos is Night 2, Camp Chaos is Night 3. You cannot stack two Chaos badges in a single run.

Does Factory Chaos interact with the Lakeview Ghost?

No. The Lakeview Ghost appears on Night 3, not Night 2. Factory Chaos is Night 2 only and never overlaps with Lakeview.

Is Factory Chaos harder than House Chaos?

Yes, by a wide margin. House Chaos is Night 1 vanilla difficulty with all modifiers and runs roughly 7–8 minutes. Factory Chaos is Night 2 (much higher baseline difficulty with three simultaneous anomalies) with all modifiers and runs roughly 9–10 minutes including the Party encore. Solo House Chaos is realistic with practice; solo Factory Chaos is brutal for the badge.

Does Factory Chaos trigger any special dialogue?

The Worker storage-room cutscene plays at 06:00 regardless of the modifier stack. The lore dialogue is identical to vanilla Night 2; Factory Chaos does not add flavor text.

Where do I report a Factory Chaos bug?

Use the in-game report button or the Official Links page. Bugs related to audio reverb under Bloodmoon are tagged with the Factory Chaos label for routing.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Residence Massacre survivors.

Is Factory Chaos a Night 2 or Night 3 modifier?

Factory Chaos is **Night 2 only**. It stacks Bloodmoon, Party, Graves, and Blizzard on the factory map. Night 3 has its own all-stack called Camp Chaos, which awards Remnant (not Operator).
